Carpet Cleaning Process

Carpet Cleaning Process

1. Pre-Inspection

Our technician will walk through your home with you to visually inspect the carpet. He will identify potential permanent stains and give you an evaluation of expected results, as well as listen to any concerns you may have.

2. Furniture Moving

Our regular pricing does NOT include furniture moving. If you need us to move any sofas, chairs, beds, dressers, or heavier pieces then this will cost extra and you will also need to book in advance. One of our consultants can quote the exact cost to move any furniture.

3. Commercial Pre-vacuum

Dry soil is removed by thoroughly commercially power vacuuming. Removing any loose dirt, dry soil and grime built up in the fibers is one of the most vitally crucial steps in any textile cleaning process.

4. Pre-spot

Difficult spots are pre-treated with special solutions to increase chances of removal. For the treatment of stubborn stains like grease-based stains, wine, blood, rust etc. or for heavy traffic areas is essential prior to shampooing and extracting pre-spot process. We are using eco-friendly and at the same time very strong chemicals which attack hard to clean stains, break and lift them from the fabric so they can be easily shampooed away.

5. Pre-spray

A preconditioning agent is applied to emulsify and break down traffic area soil and general spots for a more thorough cleaning.
We are doing the pre-spray using an in-line injection sprayer which basically means that with high pressure it injects the solution as deep in the carpet as possible. Pre-spraying allows the chemical to dwell on the carpet, breaking down and dissolving dirt and soils so that they can be effectively removed by the hot extractor machine.

6. Pre-grooming/Agitation

A professional carpet groomer or rotary brush is used to further loosen the soil.
The carpet agitation is another cleaning process, we are using counter rotating brush (CRB) machine which helps cleaning chemicals work more effectively by loosening soil and other particles that are clinging to it prior to being extracted.

7. Soil Extraction and Rinse

The carpet is then thoroughly rinsed using a powerful hot-water extraction cleaning machine, without over wetting the carpet or leaving a sticky residue behind. This machine is using neutralizing detergent with rinse water to help ensure proper removal of soils and all chemical residue from the carpet which is leaving carpets clean and healthy.
Every carpet that we clean is pH balanced afterwards, meaning that there is no sticky residue left behind. This also leaves your carpet soft and fresh.

8. Post Spot

Any spots or stains still remaining will get extra treatment with our many specialty spotting solutions.
* For longer carpet life and fewer permanent stains, be sure to have professional carpet protector and deodoriser applied to your carpet.

9. Post Groom

Your carpet will be groomed with a professional groomer so that the pile of your carpet is standing tall when we leave. Post grooming helps the carpet pile dry faster and in the right position.

10. Speed Dry

High velocity air movers are placed on the carpet immediately after cleaning to promote faster drying if needed.

11.  Post Cleaning Inspection

Our technician will walk through your home with you to point out the cleaning results and to make sure you are completely thrilled with the job.
